hi im kinda growing now, n i just recently bought a quiksilver cell size 14 boys wetsuit for 60$(new to), but its to small, i realized im now in mens sizes, but im gonna keep on growing, so i need a good, cheap winter wetsuit(at least 4/3) to get me through the winter. any suggestions?

Normally you have to drop some money for a good suit to get you comfortably through the coldest winter swells. But I think a lot of us started our first winter or two with sub-par suits. I know I went all winter my first year in a 3/2 O'neill with a strap on hood and cotton socks for booties (what was I thinking!?). I was 14 then but now I think it's worth dropping the dollars for a quality suit. The good news is that the cheaper suits now are probably better than the best suits when I started.

    Cheap suits

Joel, I don't know where you are located, but if the water gets cold and I mean anything lower than 50, you will need a good suit. Unfortunately, cheap and good work against each other. Buy the best suit you can afford!!!

    Little Jonny,

I have an O'neill Psycho 4/3 Men's small that I was about to put on Ebay. Maybe you're interested in that....Check out their website for the sizing info to see if this works for you. This is Oneill's top of the line suit - I'm asking $150. Great condition.

I live in Delaware so a 5/4/3 on the coldest days is ideal for this area...

    Hyperflex

Last year i bought a 5/4/3 hyperflex with the built in hood. No complaints with it at all other then its not the most attractive slab of neoprene. It has plenty of movement and keeps me really warm, even in gale 20 degree winds with the water in the low 30's. And if i remember correctly it was only like $190 or something. Just some food for thought.

its deffiently worth it to get the better suit even it costs more. Last year i went through the winter with a Xcel 3/2 full suit and boots, gloves, and a hood. I was ok until about Janurary. i have never been so cold in my life. So spend the money get a good suit!
