Not a bad idea, I haven’t used that stuff since I use to skateboard and went through shoes like crazy.

The entire padded running shoe concept is BS - - a marketing scheme, brilliant as usual, from the Beaverton folks. Nike cooked it up in order to sell us all the 'technology' in running shoes, at massive markups / profits for themselves.

If you have the time, a trmendous read is 'Born to Run' - - part of the book addresses this topic, and eviscerates Nike for what they have created.

There was another guy, Aussie sports med doc named Richards, who demolished the running shoe myths. That was more than 10 yrs ago.

People believe what the marketing sugar buzz feeds them, though.

Man I used to wear adrenalines (I had the 15s and 16s) but the new revision is to on-road for me. I got a pair of 18's and ripped the toe off running on some trails.

Lucky my shoe store replaced them no questions asked. I went with the brooks cascadia and they are awesome. They have a rock plate in the sole so you can step on some gnarly shi* and not even feel it.

Either way. The only running shoes I buy are brooks.

Right on. Makes sense. I almost exclusively run on pavement so they work perfect for me. I wouldn't mind running trails but don't know of many around here that are close by.

These we're on my Christmas list; picked them 2 weeks ago from Tim Nolte in OBX, the green rail is a custom and blue trim a clone off the rack, 10 foot old guy's LB's. Mitchell had done a great job repairing the dings & delam the last few years on my other Tim Nolte 10 footer but it was time for new boards. Yank & both like the 10's ...................... Rather than going crazy with the $$ this year my girl and I are buying new knives for the kitchen. Thinking about something like this:

Oh yeah they are mostly for her. I'll use em for prepping meat and seafood for the grill.

    Don't worry. Man stuff only.
