Actually, wife and I are flying out to east Texas next weekend to pick up a car that in-laws are giving us. Driving back and will stop in Huntsville, AL, to visit daughter attending U of A. May swing further south near Gulf Coast to check out future retirement possibilities. Plan to be home for Thanksgiving. The clan (spelled with a c) is coming to our house.

What's a Southern Thanksgiving without a bird deep-fried in peanut oil with a side of boiled crawdaddies?

My brother lived in Huntsville for about 5 years before he moved to Austin last year. Went to visit him twice. Believe it or not, Huntsville is rather civilized, has a great little music, art and restaurant scene. It is truly a diamond in the rough as everything else in that state was rather depressing.

See that's the issue, you are doing it wrong. Grits and just for breakfast, matter of fact, that is it's least impressive usage. It will grow on you. It really will.

Local Hilton Head Island Selects (Broad Creek)

A few local blues (Port Royal Sound)

Dehydrate one of these puppies into some jerky, unless Brew wants to smoke it.

That is pretty much what I take naturally from the waterways here and munch on on the regular. I can bring that. Maybe even call one of my "BO's" in Bluffghanistan and have them shoot us a wild boar. I am sure Brew could work with that too.

Ohh, and this. I almost forgot this (Welcome to South Cackilack): [IMG]
