^now thats logic. The canadian border, and the Straights : Frigid (6 mil) New England= Cold (5/4 or 6 Mil) Mid Atlantic = Cold ObX= Cold SE NC: lil chilly for 2 months but not all that bad. But hey thats my opinion. i'm sure many of you on here have, but take a trip North past New York, or head up to Tofino on the West coast in Jan Feb or March and you will experience conditions that may widen your spectrum. Nothing like wading through waste deep snow to get to the ocean, and paddling through the equivalent of concrete. Especially when the bays and harbors are already starting to freeze over. Cold water temps suck, but when you got negative air temps to boot thats when **** gets raw.
