Oh yeah, I'm going to URI as business undeclared I like learning, and school is something i'm good at so i figured college is the right way to go Thanks all for the help, or lack thereof
Don't rush to get through school in 4 years. Take a year or 2 off to travel, get some worldly experience, it will pay dividends in the business world. I learned just as much in my "gap years" as I did in school. By the time I graduated I was significantly more mature than the 22 y/o babies I was walking with. Approach classes like a job. Showing up prepared and on time will earn you major respect from your profs. If your prof has a PHD, ALWAYS refer to them as Doctor unless they say not to. Enjoy!
Just remember that your (most likey) paying for it- probably for many years, so take it seriously and take classes/major that has a for sure route to a future job. And oh yea... catch some waves!
All the people I know who went to URI have drinking problems. And by problems I mean they are great drinkers. "Hi Neighbor!"
congratulations fun. allow me to present to you this advice: 1. fvck every girl that you can. you are there to learn and experience life not wife shop. 2. study and do well. srsly, do not fvck around with your grades. 3. go back to number 1 above. 4. summer school sucks. get a job. go back home. surf or find something to do. summer classes burn you out. 4.1. never forget about number 1 above. you are welcome
URI grad here. Have fun. Metard nailed it! you should have 3 goals: 1. Bang tons of chicks. (unless ur ghey like sigmund, misfit or fungus) 2. Get good grades. 3. Surf I played Rugby up there. Not the best sport for maintaining GPA. Extreme partying. Good times though.
Best advice from metard in the few years I have been associated with this dump. metard is off the list of morons. He has graduated. With honors. Prof. Barry
