I was surfing yesterday, north Monmouth county new jersey weather was sunny with light off shores high 50s maybe low 60's water temp. 57 to 59 degrees 1 to 3 footers clean as dusk came, weather became cooler and breezier adding some texture and smaller size that's when i became cold 3/2 o'neil with 2 mil gloves, no hood no booties, feet were cold but ok, face/head no problem So I ask? Where is ur general location what are the current conditions what r u wearing
Northern New England. It is fvcking cold. I surf naked even in January. Oh...wait...is that porn?? Will I be banned??
Cape cod Cold as hell if hell were cold, but it's been all time lately 4/3 with hooded vest, 5 mil booties and fingered gloves
On LI Iv been going 3/2 with boots. Boots are needed for the walk to the water more so than in the water. On a few windy days I pulled out a 4/3 with hood. No gloves. Probably getting colder though. Hadn't surfed in about a week and a half. Should have waves this week but ieffed up my knee a bit so I may have to sit it out. I need to surf
I checked the nj cams yesterday and was surprised there was a nice little wave out there with the offshores.its getting colder so the 4/3 will do...I sincerely hope we get a thanksgiving swell this year, which we normally do..its already dark when I get off work so these midweek swells are no beuno for me
DE. 3/2, no gloves, no booties, no hoods. But, that is just me, I am sure there are gloves and booties out there
Last seasons billabong sleeveless long Jane 2mm with a super cute turquoise rash guard under it to offset the blue markings on the suite. Water 78, air 75, wind NE 15 mph,
OCMD yesterday. Started with a 3/2 but got cold after a couple hours. Air temperature and wind drove me to put on my 4/3 for session #2. Water was only 60 or so but air was a chilly 45 in the AM.
I hear ya, Cep... Been out of town the past few days, so missed out. But tomorrow and Tuesday I'll be wearing the 4/3, 3mil boots and 2mil gloves. Not planing on wearing a hood 'cause it should be sunny. But I'll bring the squid cap in case...
south monmouth county you probably know 3/2 is drying, 5mil and boots are out of closet and ready just in case
A fishnet thong. It ensures I have the break to myself... Kidding aside, it's been a 2/1 shorty. Water temps have been in mid 60s. Last week, daytime air temps ranged from mid 60s to around 80. Mornings now in high 40s-low 50s, so it's been cooling off more lately. Switching to full 4/3 this week - especially for morning sessions now that we're back to Standard Time.
Boart shorts till December you F ucks. I've got no time for your 5 mil phaggotry. But im in the panhandle so the waves are weak and it is always sharky.
