Todays' forecast for OC says somehwere in the chest/stomach range.
When I look at camera stream the ocean looks flat.
Is it becuase now there is no sandbar anymore on 46th street? even so, there should be a shorebreak...or something.

From what I saw this morning it was mostly flat. Checked up and down the beach and it wasn't ridable at all at high tide. An odd looking north angled wave came it here and there but nothing worth freezing over.

    forecast

I have noticed the past few swells haven't materialized like they were originally forecasted. Although it must be tough to predict mother nature, but it is frustrating when your planning your life around the forecast as I know many of us do. If there is anything we as avid surfers can do to help the forecast be more acurate let us know swellinfo. Were all here for the same reason we must surf.

switched back to the wind swell approach too early... as some long period ene swell is still hanging around. this will be correct on the update around 5pm.
