I'm sorry, guys, but I'm compelled to say something here...again. Oddly enough, the topic has come up several times on this Forum.
Do yourself, your friends, and loved ones a big, BIG favor and don't even get into that awful stuff. If you're already dipping, do whatever it takes to quit. It's tough. It's very addicting. And the longer you dip, the tougher it gets. I've been there.
Besides, the sh*t (and that's what it smells like - especially Cope) is increasingly expensive. The potential medical effects are downright scary and absolutely gruesome.
...Provided as a public service announcement for current and would-be dippers.
    Don't be a dip-sh*t.

Stay away from both! Had a friend find a little sore in his mouth at 53, turned out to be cancer. A year later after getting 2/3 of his tongue cut out and his throat literally shaved of its membrane he died, mute, and a virtual skeleton. Sorry to be a downer but that seems like a real waste.

Grizzly Wintergreen Pouches. Had to switch to pouches because its easier to hide from co workers and the woman. She always catches me with it in my teeth. Switched to pouches and no more problems. I should be from the south.

I quit 3 weeks ago. I'm using Nicotine lozenges. I'm down to 3 a day. I've been through some bad, bad sh!t in my time, but this is one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. I've also gained 3 pounds already. Chavez, the beluga whale, coming to a break near you.

After what I witnessed I loved to read this. Don't worry about the weight you'll loose it after you get your metabolism back in check.

I quit August 1 after dipping 17 years. It was really hard to do, but I managed to go cold turkey. After paying for 2 root canals with no insurance I figured it was a good time to quit. There are better drugs out there that won't destroy your health. Good for you Chicarrone, keep the faith buddy. I gained about 10 pounds snacking in order to satisfy the oral fixation. Better to be a tad chunky than cancerous. I still get nervous every time I get a sore in my mouth.

It makes me sick....I don't like the stuff...the smell of it makes me gag...I used to dip in high school with my buddies then I got a little older and realized it's not fun to be sick to your stomach every time you do something so I haven't dipped since. If you like it I totally understand but it is not for me.

Lol, I could see this. Back in high school I tried Redman and could see myself getting drunk and eating it like big league chew.

I dipped Copenhagen for 20 years. Wanted to and tried numerous times to quit after 10 years. The short term discomfort you'll experience via nicotine withdrawal will seem like a lovely springtime frolic though the daisies compared with chemotherapy.

Time 2. I started in 1978 to get off smokes and finally got off it (Copenhagen) in 2001. It is very addictive.

that is a foolproof hardcore method, you should patent it and charge mad loot to get people drunk and then egg them onto doing that
