Costa Rica or Puerta Rico for surf trip in February??

I would say Costa Rica is a better choice, although I love Puerto Rico, it is so beautiful! As far as waves go though, your wife will have a better time learning in Costa Rica then Puerto Rico. Plus, there is more things to do in Puerto Rico if your wife is into shopping and things like things like that.
