Fishpimp I was there in July and am going there at christmas time. I have been there in November as well. There are always waves of some sort. depends on swell direction as to what spots work better. i was in costa the last week of may last year and it was pretty solid. about head high every day except for one or two. wind wasn't always ideal though. We went to witches and it was awesome but ollie's wasn't working.

When I was lucky enough to get to go, I'd go 2 weeks after Semana Santa. All the Carajillos would be back in school, and you could make some great deals for cars and lodging.
