Hit up the north side of the island all day today since it was flat. Scored about 2 dozen blue crabs right after high tide. caught 6 black tips. Only got one to keep that was 56 inches but it was a sweet day on the water. Only thing that would have made the day better woulda been waves. Sharks were everywhere.
There's nothing worse then a shark with crabs. Crabs like to pinch your nuts, in case you didn't know.

Got stoked on 3ft at 6s tonight on the midlength. Had to have got 20 rides in 45 mins at a spot that never has anything at high tide but did. Water was 56 and went gloveless with ease in the 3/2. No crabs, no sharks, just stoke. May trunk it tomorrow in 82 degree air. Spicoli likes to push the envelope. Remember the fallen and those served. Thank you mattyb

Yeah, this year is the first year in over a decade i have had this holiday off. Feels strange. Feel like **** today cause my daughter woke up throwing up in the middle of the night. Was in the er til 5am making sure she didn't have a concussion. She had slipped by the pool when we for back from the beach. She had her waterwings and her vest on so she barely even bumped her noggin but we played it save. Even with only a few hours of sleep she still woke up at 8:30
