Pic from our Solstice walk. I was wondering why all those Cape Cod area codes were showing up on my phone bill.
That mountain lion jogger guy...man, I was able to stop a 70+ pound rottie with one kick to the head, idk why he had to do that. Kitten was most likely orphaned by some trophy fag.
Such a great dog the best buoy that Phin
Suite pic duder!
Not at all ok one bit with this
Thank you fellers. I've come to the conclusion that I'm a gay dog because he's definitely my soul mate.
Not looking good for wolves. Once control is in state hands we'll be back to where we were in the 50's/60's.
Aerial gunning and killing denning bears/wolves will be going down on public land in Alaska.
I have to wait 15 more years now but once my daughter is 18 it will be time for work in the field. There's one location in my state where trapping is going down I will be training there in the meantime.
Not a crazy encounter but this is the biggest pickeral I've ever seen. Caught in a river off Chesapeake Bay.
Let the wolves roam around, make the ranchers buy some private land like people do in the east of the Rockies.
It's a female, probably egg-laden. Hope she was released.
Nice fish. Super bony... so I'm sure it was released. Caught a lot of chain pickerel in South Jerzy growing up. Biggest was 35", and that won SECOND place that year! Won a nice Penn reel.
Then I moved to Michigan and caught my first Northern Pike... thing was an alligator!
Those fish are so gnarly.
Biggest freshwater fish I ever caught was a 40 inch Muskie in the Schuylkill River above the flat rock dam about 15 years ago. I was fishing live bluegills for catfish when he clobbered a cast I had dropped short of a trough. By some miracle he didn't saw through my line. Most guys fish for them with steel leader. It took me 15 minutes to land him. I knew right away what it was the minute I hooked him. Catfish will try to dive after a strike, this guy ran like a sonofabitch. Still remember that fight like it was yesterday. Teeth like a goddamn crocodile. I CAREFULLY got the hook out and sent him on his way.
Always wanted to catch one of those. It was on my bucket list for a long time...
On another note... the yakers are killing big striped bass right now, releasing fish in the 40lb range. Not interested in a fish that size, but definitely would like to start working the suds with some consistency soon.
