my one buddy from ny does all the work for the vans contests,he recently did the us open and the Virginia beach one,I used to be into graff, never did it,just hung out with a lot of writers some might call legends, but most of them turned into junkies so I don't hang with those people anymore
this is a guy a grew up with, used to be my neighbor.he was always a weirdo, but handsdown this guy is the Kelly slater of painting, started off tagging highways and underpasses on the train tracks, now hes sponsored by the paint companies to go all over the world painting graffiti.kind of like a pro surfer, but theres really no such thing as a pro painter, talk about a success story rime is it
Yeah that's what happens to a lot of people who get into that life but it's kinda expected when you steal and run the streets all night.
My big brudder was autistic. Here's some of his stone work. I think I've posted these before. But it's my dead brother's so shut up! My surf shrine

Ok, so I'm not really an artiste...but I like rocks. I also like pre-industrial belief systems, and traditional arctic art. One of my inuksuk. I make offerings to it... Not just a cairn, but my little shrine to gravity...
I just bought it. Someone burnt the design into the bamboo. here's a better look. it's weird how it's balanced
I began drawing cartoons while in college. Most of it was the crude embellishment of the foolish antics of the guys I hung out with. Normally there was drinking involved, and I was usually fairly buzzed when I drew the stuff. They all seemed get quite a kick out of it, as the caricatures of each of us were recognizable. I continued doing this while in the Navy, with the same results. Crazy stuff that happened while on liberty or just lampooning the daily grind of shipboard duty. My drawings became more refined after I quit drinking. Leaving military duty but still working for the Navy in civil service, I found there was no shortage of subject matter to draw about: red tape, bureaucracy, stuff that happened during meetings and while on travel. My cartoon topics were like those of Dilbert before there was a Dilbert. Drawing style looked like a cross between Far Side and Mad Magazine. They were done in color and B&W. People seemed to enjoy seeing caricatures of themselves. Unfortunately, I do not have any samples to post. Folks began requesting that I draw cartoons of special events at work, like retirements. This went on for quite a few years until our fourth child was born with special needs. That was in 1997. From then on, my free time, which had been spent drawing, was needed for more important things. I enjoy art and plan to pick it up again. I'd like to get into painting as well as wood burning and making mosaics of sea life from all the shells, shell fragments, and sea glass that my wife and I have been collecting over the years. She's also into lapidary, something I got her interested in when we lived in Calif.
Dos that isn't my work so I'm not sure on the size but I know it's oil. I was just trying to keep a good tread alive...something with more substance then these **** measuring contest treads...Hey if you've got any old work or just random doodles post em'
