So, curious as to how many people who got skunked during Danielle didn't make the drive to the Crystal Coast for Igor? I got semi-skunked for Danielle, but turned right around and went back for Igor who delivered the goods in a serious way. Thanks to Igor, and all of the CC locals who were a pleasure and quite welcoming in the lineup. I'm still smiling! I can barely raise my arms, but I sure am smiling!
pay attention to the swell directions and what direction the beach is facing. swellinfo is a great tool to have but they are not always 100% correct. i bet there was some good set rolling thru ei and ab. but it wasnt consistant. i know plenty of people that got skunked heading down to holden and ocean isle. remember an ese swell doesnt get around the hook of s facing beaches. good luck with your next hunt.
