I agree, let's start culling tourists who get in the way of sharks trying to feed, or cull any fishermen who are reeling them up on beaches for the onlooker's amusement.

More retards in the water, more chance of being bitten by a shark.

The word "attack" is almost always misleading - needs to be referred as a "bite" .. media building fear.

I don't like being harassed by a bear in the woods, but I understand I'm in their environment.

    Cull the human virus.

The thing that rarely, if ever, makes it into these stories is the human moron behavior. Ex, when the kids were getting picked off in the Carolinas earlier this year the media conveniently neglected to mention that said humans were standing in the ocean less than 300' from people chumming buckets of fish & blood & fish guts off piers.

    wtf....paging Albert Einstein...

I never really understood why they put public beach parks right next to fishing piers. You are always going to have a few careless fishermen. It would seem like a better idea to keep the large crowds far away from the area where things are being baited in. I am not sure why people always want to kill the sharks just because a few kids got bitten.

Let's cull cars and text messaging, WAY more people getting hurt and killed by these things in one year than in all of history by sharks!

I don't understand why people, including most of the surfers in the area, crowd into the water right up next to the fishing piers. Well, the surfers I can understand, sometimes it's the best breaking wave 'cause the pylons form a little sandbar I guess. But the swimmers do it too. I avoid the piers like the plague.

Homo sapiens is the herd that needs culling the most.

Maybe, instead of killing God's creature doing what it does, lets stop the raping of the oceans. https://www.google.com/search?q=facrory+fishing&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=factory+fishing

What we should really be worried about is the critters we've never seen coming up from the deep to find food. within the that year or 2, the Kraken has been caught. there was footage of them pulling one up that was trying to get fish in a net. It was cut open and the stomach was empty.
The closest anyone had seen of one was a blurry photo of a testicle taken miles down. https://www.google.com/search?q=facrory+fishing&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=giant+squid
