You're right: good idea to cull the human virus lineup / turistas too.

 

Was in NSB earlier, clear day with 3-4 foot faces. Went to drop in on a 1st-set-wave and as soon as I popped up on the top of a peak I see a 4ish foot black tip swimming parralel with me about 4 ft below the wave. We shared the energy for a few feet before I turned left and finished the wave. Such awesome creatures, the way it just casually was cruising the bottom with the eb and flow of the underwater current. First time I wasnt scared of seeing a shark right on top of me, just really intriguing and an awesome sight.

 

That's awesome, just another day at the Inlet huh

I watched the Joe Rogan podcast w Shane Dorian last week, a little disappointed in Joe..

 

I missed that one, I take it he's all for culling?

 

Not necessarily all for, but more like "fock I'm afraid of them kill those things"...dudes supposed to be a hunter who understands balance and such.

 

Hopefully he wasn't being serious but he says dumb sh*t sometimes so not surprised. He might of just cleared the bong or something lol

 

Hopefully sharks will make surfing uncool again which will be really cool.
