I know curiosity killed the cat but have any of you shredders ever been arrested and/or thrown in jail for surfing ???? how much were the fines in court and was it worth it ???
yeah some kooks complained to the authoritys about how I caused them to go blind cuz of my spray. I go so fast down the wave that when i do a cutback the spray literally is moving at the speed of light and goes about 500 yards out the back so if you're looking at me surfing the wave you'll most likely go blind if the spray hits you in the eye. I advise the people out in the lineup to not look at me while im on a wave because i dont want to kill them, the locals know this, they know that when i take a wave, they take cover, but no, the stupid kooks just laugh at me like haha so funny, and dont believe me and thats why accidents happen.

Never thrown in jail or arrested , but I did get a ticket for ( reckless endangerment ) surfin during hurricane HUGO when I was a grommet. The lifeguards called the cops and he waited till I got out. Friggin Pig!!
I tried to get a ticket after they tried to stop surfing at the north side of the Boynton Inlet. Some idiot drowned there surfing the week before on a big Nor'easter, they found his body two days late pinned between piling in the jetty. The swell went south a few days later, and I paddled out there cause that is when it works, duh! There was lot of talk ut no one came out to arrest me,and no one gave me a ticket. I was disappointed because I was gonna sic some dogs on them - some sympathetic lawyer dudes were gonna go pro bono all over their dumb asses. But they kind of knew it, so they pulled the ban. Another time they handed out tickets for jumping off the Lake Worth Pier, the day the T section at the end got destroyed by huge surf. i waited till they went for one guy, ran out to the end and jumped off. It was almost dark when I got back to my car, and they were handing out tickets to a few guys who were too dumb to outrun the cops.
