I'm either retarded or stupid. How the frig do these things work? I have factory crossbars on my car so I understand how the foam aero pads go on. BUT, how do the straps wrap around the pad? I can't find directions for this thing.
I belive they got under the cross bars . I wouldnt put them threw the pad so they are on top of the crossbar . it wouldnt be safe that way
no, not inside the car. put your board on the pads. put on end the strap under the rack on the side further from you (like toward the middle of the roof), then bring both straps up over the top of the board, towards you. then put one end of the strap under the rack, and then put it through the d ring or clasp or whatever. you'll prolly have a lot of extra strap left, i usually tie it to the other rack.
