Exactly. And that is how he "justifies" the shooting as being acceptable.
After all, they were just white cops........

When race is injected into every single law enforcement encounter, law enforcement (from Chiefs all the way down to Patrol) feel the sting of what amounts to a vote of "no confidence", as well as the fear of having every single incident under the Federal microscope of what exactly defines a "hate crime".

Throw in these factors, and what you have creates fear and divisiveness among the ranks...not exactly 2 things a cop would want crowding the back of their minds as they go about doing their daily duties, know what I mean?

Obama's response (or lack of therein) to the Dallas incident should give every single American pause for concern, and should raise the question as to what, exactly, amounts to a "hate crime".

Seems like a textbook definition to me, as well as many others. Obama, Lynch and Holder seem to be the only ones who can't get a good grip on the definition and would rather put their own unique spin on the situation.

I'm editing spelling and putting capitals on lower cases where needed. Call Grammar OCD.
    Nothing to do with content.

While he (the prez) may not directly affect the local LE departments, his responses (or lack there of as you say) has IMHO fed an undermining of the respect for authority, which has made the job of LE more difficult, and perhaps has emboldened some of the rhetoric and protest that may have a role in inciting some of these tragedies. He has been "hasty to judgment" (rather than wait for the facts) in some cases against LE (i.e, Ferguson), giving credence to a "false narrative" in the "poll of popular opinion", which contributed to the civil unrest and rise of BLM, which hasn't bore the necessary "fruits of reconciliation", but mostly civil unrest. At times is appears that he has used these crises to push a political agenda, rather than speak words of healing and restoration, and show respect and true leadership.

I typically do not like to be critical of the prez, as he does not have an easy job by any stretch, however, this is an area I think he's missed the mark.

Your opinion is buried in "political correctness".
I think the President is a fvcking asshole, and if NSA is listening, they can go fvck themselves as well.
    See, nothing to fear.

O Barry.. if it makes your day, I typically do not even like to be critical of even you and the difficult job you have here. ;)

BTW, it's not fear thing thing, or a PC thing, more about not having walked a mile in the other dudes moccasins.

I would define TripleCdog's post as "tactful", as opposed to PC.

Everything else about your post is pretty much spot on tho.
