winds has been bad but not terrible ..there were still fun waves in mon con. early everyday ..and yesterday had a late cleenup super fun in deal.
the only reason i came on this forum was to post this thread. you beat me to the punch. These winds aree soo gayyy. steady SE for 2 weekkss?!!! imagine if it were the other way around tho.. like steady NW for the last 2 weeks of steady swell !!! good thing it wasnt... prolly woulda dropped out of school and quit my job.. woulda regretted that in the long run i think..
i wish that were the case down here. I've been waiting for the winds to at least die down. That happened only once last week, but by the time i got to the beach on my lunch break it switched. so pissed, but got a short few decent rides. however, its been persistently ESE for the last 2 weeks. morning noon and night with no slowing down 10-15 mph
i tell you what folks, in NJ, there are a few gem spots where ESE winds do not affect the surf. On an East wind, on spot is actually very ridable and lined up. continue the search and you will be stoked!
