85degrees at 11:00pm last night with 68% humidity down here in S. Kackalacky. About a 100 right now. It's so hot probably ain't even got to light coals to cookout.

The best boston butt I ever cooked was in july. I put it on in the morning and went to the beach all day. When I got back the coals were all out and the butt juices bubbling nicely so I let it sit until it cooled down that afternoon. This is cold watermelon season.

helps to be skinny. I lived in the deep south most of my youth and never really paid much attention to the heat/humidity...I was just used to it and so skinny, I didn't sweat much.

However, I visited my sister in Texas recently and, when I got off the plane, I was all "hells no". Don't think I could handle living down there, these days.

Only time i'm outside right now is when i'm in the water or driving to or from the water or going to dinner and back, that's it. Unless it's early morning or in the evening, than it aint so bad outside.
