Reports are saying very likely chance of Fiona forming. Looks like waves for the foreseeable future. I think the territorial talk can relax a bit. Looks like there's going to be enough for everyone to get their fill of waves. Everyone enjoy the next week or two!

    Hey Swellinfo,
Is the Wednesday/Thursday swell the early showings of Earl? Or is it still the effects of Danielle?

    Hurricane Earl

    My first post:

(soon to be) Hurricane Earl could brush the mid-atlantic coastline or come very close to brushing us.

That link shows you a variety of models and their track for Earl. Most of them have Earl brush the coastline.

    http://moe.met.fsu.edu/tcgengifs/gfs/2010082818/slp26.png

That is the most known and used model in the US and it shows a monster 75 miles off the coast line and it drops 3" of rain along the coast.

Some other models curve Earl out to sea before it gets near us and we'll see if the NHC agrees with that at 11pm.

If Earl gets close to us, it will create 14-22ft waves along the oceanside of Delaware, closing Rehoboth Beach and the roads in town, which i actually experienced before from a nor'easter, except this time it could be a major hurricane.
