Got lucky this morning and got to the beach early just after sunrise. Got out in some of the cleanest OH waves I've seen all year. Tide had just started to come back in and there were some nice little barrels coming from these sweet waves. The rainstorms of the last few days had only produced some 12 foot chop which was unridable for a noob like me. you couldn't fit a board between the waves if you tried. I actually did but got nowhere, basically. Today though, I was right at the entrance to the public beach area over the dunes from the parking lot. Just perfect conditions. Sorry no pix.
