Dear Mr Swellinfo Guy, I'm sorry about the recent forecast snafu. I'm sure y'all are all over this like white on rice. Surely this will be fixed in short order. In order to keep us hooligans happy, I propose the following: We get to go buckwild in this here forum, no bannage, no matter what, even if we talk chit about your Mama, until the forecast is fixed. Until then, all rules of decorum are suspended. Deal?
https://www.metoc.navy.mil/fnmoc/oceanography.html Note: my old link quit workin. Go here and pick wave charts. This forecast page is pretty cool. I forget who posted it here back in the day. It was back around the times of the Coco Ho outbreak and some epic story I vaguely remember where we all created the tale one post at a time. If you get any warnings about it being unsafe, just select "advanced" and blast on through. Just got back from bodysurfin the wind choppe. Time for a nap.
Yeah waves were super fun I had to go based on buoy heights. Magicseaweed somewhat works though not as good as SwellInfo for east coast.
Swellinfo. Where they will ban you in a second for no reason, but take 2 weeks to fix the entire purpose of the website.....
Dudes, can't ya smell the stink In the air and in da water. Worse than ever? We got a fascist, racist regime that's a tryin to pull a fast one on da people. Wake up and remove da phony hucksta before the swell is gone for good...
I think repairs (if any) will take considerably more than 2 weeks. Not sure that the Carbon Media contact is being completely honest about what's going on
What was disappointing to me Carbon Media used an IT tech to call me while the company has 5 officers including a public relations manager and SIMOD5 (no less). The IT tech was forthcoming with information during the conversation and didn't seem to me he was making it up just to satisfy Carbon Media. The IT tech was in Michigan; these folks might be independent contractors rather than work in IT managing facility? So far the information about new ownership seems to be true; the company corporate & internet trail in the media world has 2019 creation dates. Personally, I think SI has been sold but the sale still in transition which might have caused the management/IT oversight issues? I view the other functionality of the web site and that ADs are changing daily the IT techs have not completely abandoned SI. I realized this after "backdoored" Carbon Media, as you know IT tech called me, then few hours later SIMOD5 showed up condensing threads/posts, he's not in the loop (?) I don't think he can/could provide any information a week from now so we'll continue seeking communication and resolution the site returns to full functionally. GF
Why is the swell/wave height graph not working anymore? Is this site getting shut down? If it is does anyone have a link to another site with surf forecast specifically one that includes Matagorda beach in Texas?
