For the most accurate forecast, always go with the eppo app.

It's gray a day and a half out and onward. Is this a browser issue?

one more day until we enter the grey zone, I imagine it to be some kind of surfing black hole where its always 1-3' with no angle, at wind swell periodicity with moderate onshores

I went with the Kentucky Bourbon over the Tennessee whiskey on this trip. Let's just say the Moonshiners up there need to learn their craft a little better....

It all comes down to the most cutting edge in technology, i.e., fingers crossed!

For all the folks who are perhaps new to the surfing season....if there are gusts of 30 knots, it's important to maintain perspective. Let's review! :D

    - keeps the vampire swarms at bay
    - it's an easy paddle out, just hoist the barn door (you, sitting on board) & out you zoom
    - you won't need to be concerned with being dropped in on
    - briefly hibernating under water after a ride is a proven way to avoid stitches in one's noggin

    - it's a lousy way to go check out the Atlantic shipping lanes
    - attempting to paddle blindly into a wave whilst Nature blasts your face with buckets of salt water, ehhhh, not the best of times
    - pushing over the edge becomes your sole reason for existence

This will probably be first step towards paying for Swellinfo premium. Hearing whispers of a new surf forecast on the come up... East Coast based too

Ditto for windguru, always liked that one - - problem is that their app stopped working months ago on my too-complicated iPhone.
Just tried to load again & no success. :(

^i used to use windy a lot. I like it but I find that using NOAA for long range (4-7 days out) then using local hourly forecasts within 48 hours ( works for me.

True very true. The wind forecast can and will disappoint.,32.50,769

I like to look for trends in the big picture that may tweak any forecast. This earth link is cool for that.

Local hourly forecast is typically pretty reliable though inside 48 hours though we have all seen weather do some untimely and mysterious things...

We had a storm blow through last night. Heavy wind, thunder and rain. It was crazy.

How many of us would pay for SwellInfo Premium?

I would pay for Forrumme access to hang out with you yahoos before I would pay for “swellinfo”. I mean, think about the value of all the advise we get here!
