Well, who's been naughty and who's been nice this past year?
Santa's making his list. Remember, it's P for presents and C for coal.
    What's on your X-mas list?
This being my second year surfing, I'm more or less set for one more winter with my assortment of second-hand gear but could probably use a new, warmer pair of booties and gloves. I went cheap on them last year, and they haven't held out well. A 9-2 or 9-6 long board under the tree would be a nice surprise, but that's not going to happen. Next year sometime, though.
Maybe a few more days here with ride-able waves, an end to summer surfing restrictions, and no more dolphin die-offs.

Sorry, gang, for the lame thread. I was stuck at home and thought a surf/Holiday related topic might be a change of pace from the recent "Gay Surfer" and "WTF" threads. I probably should just take a break from the Forum. It seems to be addicting. Go read a good book.
Anyway, I was working on my X-mas list and wondered whether there was any advantage of split toe over full foot booties.
The Holidays can be a nice time to surf at the VB Oceanfront. No summer circus, parking is free, and the Holiday lights along the Boardwalk are nice. Unless conditions are really lousy, there's usually a few others out. On those cold, winter late afternoons/early evenings, it's sometimes nice to have a little company.

BTW, Happy Holidays to you all.
