Well said. This is exactly what my problem with the current administration is (and probably will be with the future admin). I don't see the doom and gloom others talk about.
But more comes out of my check and it sucks. More and more and more and more.

 

Well, for now, it may not be doom and gloom, but later, when you wish to retire, you will note that the 6% taken from you will be exactly what you needed to retire WELL. Investing that 6% now and reinvesting the dividends would be a nice retirement, and it still will be, just not for you. But for the person that refuses to work instead. Therein ,imho, lies the doom and gloom.
Now if you say I already have enough, well then, look at it this way....there goes your kids college education.
Bottom line, nynj, you can be a much better master of your own future than the nanny state.

Sh!t man, I change in the park like a homeless person sometimes.

 

Well, I typically surf in the morning, rinse off at the shower in the parking lot, but I go home and take a proper shower too. After, I'll wear board shorts during the day when i'm working, usually no shirt, but when I get a little chilly I put one on. Later in the day when my wife comes home, I might shower again and then put something fresh on to go out to dinner or something, just to get out of the house. Once back at home I'll put some lounge shorts or pajama pants on. Wait, is that 3 times?

 

Never worked from home but used to sneak home for nooners... damn cameras all over campus now...
During "surf season" The ocean is pretty much my bathtub and I'll rock the same board shorts and rash guard until I can't stand my own stink. Posted a picture on FB with the caption, "My hair is greasy and my rash guard stinks." My sisters thought it was "surf lingo. "My wife thought it was disgusting. So I am... So I am...
