Can citizens of other states attend?

So, after the lecture we can all start our own surf predictin' websites? That would be boss.

Buy six-sided dice.....roll the dice and post number. That's how I predict waves. Besides the times when my groin starts hurting, which invariably means a four foot WNW swell......at 50 seconds.

Any lectures planned on how to obtain advertisers and stuff?

This is like high-society surfing stuff right here. Lectures at the library.

Man, all the cool stuff goes down in Delaware these days. Surf predictin' lectures, tow-ins five feet from the shore, Zeroevol drug testing everyone, the McDonnalds on Dupont Highway in Dover, New Castle violence........

    The list goes on.

to 100% accurately predict the waves (this wouldn't actually be a prediction, this would be fact) you would need to keep track of every single water molecule in the ocean, and every air molecule near the ocean.

"Let us help you call in sick on the right days instead of getting skunked all of the time!"

^^^as advertised on link...now that's a noble sentiment right there. If I were closer I'd attend.

Hey, dude, what are you talking aboot?

    Daddy issues?

Like, I'm a chick who is promiscuous looking for attention from men?

If you are going to insult, at least have some idea why you are doing it. I think you may be confused.

Well you know, I got some guy who thinks I'm "butt-hurt." And I have no idea why.

What, because I poke fun at surf predictin' websites?

Yeah, well there's a reason for that. Start a study, someone, and see how accurate these guys are past 24 hours out. And the east coast, forget it. Well, the one good thing is that all our swells are between 1-6' so how far-off can one be.

Interestingly enough, today's technology is less accurate predicting weather and waves. All these computer weather models suck. The old fashioned way was better.

And calling out sick.....well get up in the morning and check the friggin surf. If you don't have a Spicoli pad at Hull then look at a cam.

Maybe we all should live in the moment. Groms and newbies it's ok if you are gung-ho on surf predictin websites. You guys are supposed to be. But, man there's either waves on a given day or there isn't. Scheduling surfs sucks. You just gotta go.

And if you live four hours away from OCMD oh well.........

    You shut the F up.

So if it was a pay service it'd be cool to poke fun? People who pay for Surfline might be a bit slow. Or just really stoked and excited. That place, from my limited experience, can't even nail the current day's conditions.

I don't come here for the predictions. I come here for the message boards, which I have credited as the best thing going. I learned how to duck dive from this place.

That stuff annoys you, huh? Maybe you need some help with your anger. Plus, any real east coast surfer knows when there will be waves. We don't need some computer algorithm.

Yeah, our surf isn't generated from storms 1000 miles away like off of New Zealand. It's not some big mystery. A low comes through, switches them winds onshore, and walah the surf builds. Once the respected storm exits your immediate area, the winds tend to clock around, hopefully from the NW, and 7-11 in Ship Bottom starts to pump. Of course Mr. Sniffer will be on it.

Quality, huh? So you'd be lost without these services, huh? That's too bad.

But anywayswho, is anything I said incorrect?

No, it is not. And if you disagree with that then prove it. Start a study of the accuracy 72 hours and out.

You must live three hours west of Ilmington I reckon.

    Ah, nice, AO, nice.
