Why is the water in Delray recorded at 76, when in Palm Beach it's recorded at 69. Only reason why I ask is because I'm going to florida in a couple days and I was just wondering.

Both of these locations were using different local buoy readings... It looks like both of these buoys are currently inactive... I went ahead and changed the ocean temperature data to pull from another data set.

no, sorry, i had to change those locations as well to read off of the satellite dataset.
All of Central Florida and South Florida buoys are down, which is unfortunate!

Use the sea surface temps as an approximation.
It might be worth calling a local shop, if you are worried about bringing wet suits. I've always trunked it in South Florida, but I am used to colder water being from the Mid Atlantic.

Nomad Surf Shop in Delray is a good shop to talk to.
