hey guys, well today at my local spot i was on a wave and some kook tried to push his board over the wave while i was on it :confused:!!!! and left a 10 inch, 1/4inch deep ding across the bottom of my board !:(
    anyway....
i fixed it, and it came out great, but i always wonder... what can you use to cover/clean all the scratches on my board from sanding:confused::confused::confused:

Ya gotta be careful because everything that gets rid of the stratches, removes material, making the glass thinner in that spot. If you have globs of resin, sand it down until it's almost completely level, then wet sand it. You can polish it with compound and a buffer, but be careful. It removes a lot of material without warning.

If it's already flat and you are just concerned about the appearance, reconsider doing anything as you're just making the material thinner and more susceptable to damage.

yeah when I take on a ding the sandin process i use is 80 , 100, 120, 200. then I wet sand with 400 and 600 to give it that nice gloss and then buff and polish it if its a gloss finish.

Just remeber Sand a little at a time cause if you go to far you gotta start all over agian
