Does anybody have some ideas on DIY projects. It can be related to surfing or not but I really enjoy building things and using my hands so any ideas will be appreciated.

Have you no imagination at all? Come on man. Figure out something you like and replicate it. Melt some silver and tie some leather to it... That seems like a good place to start.

Get yourself a s-load of gopher wood and build an ark like Noah did. Coming April 4 to a theater near you:

Kidding aside, build a small boat: canoe, kayak. rowboat, sail boat. Don't know what skills, tools or facilities you have, but it's something I thought about possibly doing and may put it on my bucket list. Maybe just build a small RC boat for starters.

a while back I saw someone here post pics of a mini wooden surfboard tide clock they made, ended up making a couple as gifts for friends and family. Was pretty easy and made great gifts, still wish I made one for myself as well.

My favorites thus far in no particular order: outdoor shower(would love to have one), raised beds, and handplane.

Find a habitat for humanity group and go build a house. It's fun and you might meet some cool people.

If you live close by to a yachting center, build a teak fighting chair. Then you can sell it for big bucks once you are done, and you'll have a start on a semi-lucrative niche that caters to a very affluent clientele, not a bunch of rag tag surfers. Or build an ark. that would be awesome. Wayne might help.

today i learned there is a nation-wide group of volunteers who dress as clowns and then visit
hospital rooms; their sole purpose being to swim against the tide of misery that can come there...

Build a shaping shack, then build a board. Recycle some old windows and put them in the roof, so it doubles as a greenhouse to start plants in Spring. Build a raised bed out of landscaping timber. These are DIY projects that keep you DIYing.
