I live in the "Gaudy Summer Homes" region and its a great place to live, surf and raise a family.......especially from September - May.

 

I visited the "Canadians and Philly Trash" area years ago. Other than that my only Jersey experience is the NJ Turnpike, where everyone drives 80 mph.

 

You aren't missing much. Nada. Place is a dump. Only good place is Spring Lake, and even that is sketchy.

u know spring lake is belmars neighbor?i don't understand the sketchy part,u want sketchy try Newark,paterson,Trenton,or Camden.spring lake is a lovely beach,lol theres virtually no difference between Belmar and sl,same boardwalk,same waves,same crowds.

I love spring lake. Cant wait to come back in the fall for some hurricanes (hopefully)!

I looked at that pic and immediately had a vision... Guv throws the pitch... Out of nowhere, a golf cart zooms onto the field, snatches Christy up, and rapidly whisks him away into the tunnel... Then... <POOF!> A confetti cloud comprised of the Guvnas former uni blows out of the tunnel and into right field...
