Few random observations:

People like fights. Just ask Manny Pacquiao or Mister Mayweather. They are about to take home a 9 digit payday for a few hours of work. Work being punching each other. Again that's 9 digits. 100 Million dollars. Maybe Micah should host a pay per view online event with Yankee and Brads Dad. Undercard could MIS v Riley. I'd probably paypal a fiver as long as I could actually see the participants.

Or maybe a WWE style cage fight with the entire SI crew facing our oldest, most heated rivals - the Magic Seaweed 'chaps'. After we beat them up verbally we can then remind them that in all of the wars we've been involved in with them we've either savagely beaten them or bailed them out. Micah did copy their website design, though, so they have that going.

I'm concerned about Riley's recreational drug use. I saw the best minds of my generation destroyed by Pfizer. (There you go, Allen.)

The Mets are playing gangbusters baseball right now. Knotted up with Bravos right now, but playing a tremendous brand of the pastime.

Final observation: Everything in the northeast is hearty as fvck. Its dipping into the 30's at night and my daffodils just DGAF. They're yellow and green and giving a huge middle finger to the winter which still hasn't quite given up. The kids in my hood all go to school with shorts on. They're playing baseball in driving rain and wind on soggy fields. My neighbor was sitting out in her front yard the other morning in a down jacket, hat, and flip flops having a coffee - it was 42 degrees, windy, and overcast. She DGAF. Its spring if we say it is.

Mets just took the lead on a bases loaded two out walk. Mets radio and TV booth have become like old friends. Sometimes I even talk back to them. Especially Keith.

On a surfing related note, two days ago I entered the water with three fins, and exited with two. I can pretty much pinpoint when it happened, because on my frontside drops I was suddenly going sideways a whole lot. Frontside hacks were really loose at the back though. Its actually made me think that a slightly larger middle fin and two guiders on the rail might be a fun setup for a solid but not mean head high swell. Not sure how I lost that fin. Its still a mystery.

I'd like to have a few beers with Bartolo Colon. Even though he cant speak English that well.
