TSJ for me, just started my sub this year. A friend of my pops, who helped me settle here in NC, had a huuuuuge bookshelf of TSJ going way back. Wish I could've froze time and flipped through all of em.
+1 I'm with you on that Betty! I was happy to see in this last issue Stephanie Gilmore and Coco Ho were in it for articles & not just ads. One step closer!
anyone ever notice that surfer puts a great booty shot on every editorial reference page in their mags???? I feel like they do this because no one would ever pay attention to that page otherwise. great mag though. +1 on slide oh and LOCAL SESSIONS is a EC Freebie most cool shops give out - highly recommended
I still get Surfer in the mail but only because it is free as part of our membership in the ESA. If not for thwe ESA thing I wouldn't pay for it. I've got every issue of Surfer going back to about 1987. Never throw them out.
I miss having a 'Merican Bodyboarding mag. Riptide is too pricey since it's coming from Oz. Had tons old old BB's/ers/ings, this thread will make me look for them over the weekend. There's a quarterly BB'ing mag coming out of California, maybe it's time to subscribe.
Just People Magazine. Where else do you get to see photos of celebs getting credit for "surfing" a 2 inch Malibu wave straight to the beach.
Come on now, don't tell me you read it for the articles. You know there are way more pictures of half naked men in surfing magazines. We see what you're looking at.
Ugh... please. Every page is loaded with half naked men. Do you hear us complaining about how they should all be in wetsuites? There's a reason they're not... it's about the fantasy...
I too miss Bodyboarder Magazine. The BB Mag you are talking about comes out maybe twice a year, if that. Just go to BBRmag.com.
