Dolphins and cold east coast waters

    I saw a stampede of dolphins today off long island. I was kinda surprised to see them this time of year. Had to be a bout 20 or more.

    Are they usually hanging out in cold water?

    they showed up today at my regular so jersey beach. right on shed-dule….been gone about 4 months...

    Saw them too, off Monmouth Co yesterday afternoon. Was a little surprised to see them this time of year as well. Was curious about the cold water as well. Nevertheless, very cool to see that many of them, 20-30 at least, swimming south.
