The conservative obsession with yesterday is laughable. The progressive mindset is just that, geared towards progress, trying to make tomorrow better. It isn't always perect and sometimes it fails miserably. Hillary has admitted her mistakes in the "super-predator" disaster and has embraced criminal justice reform as a future endeavor. The conservative mindset is to pine over the lost but never really was glory of yesterday. Take for example the coal industry, coal is dead, obama didn't kill it, frackers did, and Trump can't bring it back unless he kills the gas industry somehow. Yet morons at Trump rally's are holding "Trump digs coal" signs. Progressives want to attempt gun control, because it will save some lives, conservatives block any and all attempts to help with the problem. I've repeatedly stated the ACA wasn't a cure all but at least Obama tried to address the problem, what's the conservative plan for millions of uncovered americans? Nada.

My aunt is gay, but she believes in Jesus Christ and attends Christian Mass semi-regularly. Yet she has great disdain for Evangelical Christians. It is a mind boggling dichotomy to me.
Pence' vote on religious freedoms bills have raised concern for some gays. Not all. And I think it's the biased media (yes it's biased) that has blown this issue beyond what is truly relevant.
Believe what you want, but there are a lot of gays that aren't concerned with Trumps VP pick, and you can't call them bigots.
I want to remind you that these are opposing point of views to yours, and to attack them is to attack Freedom of Speech. It's ok to oppose them, but when you start screaming bigotry, your attempting to shut someone's First Amendment Right down.

Also as a reminder, Trump had been solid on his support for gays his entire life in the spotlight. Hillary on the other hand was vehemently against gay rights her entire political career until 2 1/2 years ago. Pandering for the vote? IDK. If it smells like poop and looks like poop..........IMHO.
