Down here in Texas, and working on concrete and asphalt, I see this every day. I mainly do the paint striping of parking lots, but I work for a guy that does all facets of road and sidewalk repairs.

I don't know who's legal and who ain't. At least one is legal, cuz the checks are written out to him. He pays the rest of em. They get $150 a day, no hourly. The few folks I know that get govmint checks get around $40 a day, monthly.

Would a guy want $40 a day to do nothin, or $150 a day to bust his ass outdoors in the heat? Each will have to choose. I think enough will want to work. Get THEM workin. After the dust settles, start makin it harder to qualify for that $40 a day freebie. Some will need a little loving shove into the water, so to speak. They'll learn to swim. After a year or so, only the hard core bums are still gettin checks. When folks start makin $$$, and improvin their condition in life, they'll like it.

It can work.

And, oh BTW...

Day one I make every person currently getting a check recertify, proving they really need it. Move 1000s of current govmint folks from other agencies into roles to support this. If you can't recertify, you got to go to work. No ifs, ands, or buts.

today in nj on rt35 near Middletown,the staties(state police) had a checkpoint set up.i seen they got some mehikans on their way to work,landscaping shyt,trailer with lawn mowers,etc.anyway they locked up every single one of them and seized their trailer...and truck.took all the lawnmowers,i bet they didn't have their green cards.so yea the war is on
