Dude, what is your obsession with my career? What do you do for a living? You know jacksh!t about me or my background. I value businesses based on numbers (not opinion) and set up corporate structures and buy-sell agreements to protect what people work their whole life to create... not sure where the moral objection to that comes from... I don't advise on business strategy (ie how the business is actually conducted). I don't do advertising or focus groups.

    Let's try this Yank:

    1. Do you think black people are violent due to the way they are born (skin color, genetic make-up)?

    2. Do you think all black people talk the same way?

    3. Do you think all black people listen to rap music?

    4. Do you think all black people hate white people?

If the answer to those questions is "No"... then you and I agree, and that is the only point I'm trying to make. You can't cast a whole race into a set of stereotypes. If you answer "Yes" to those questions... you are a racist.

Nobody is hardwired for violence (although we are animals with instincts), except maybe those who are born truly mentally ill, like the kid who goes around killing cats and dogs at an early age and then progresses to humans and becomes a psychopathic serial killer. Most everybody else is born with a blank slate and their life experiences shape their mentality.

Being born into horrible circumstances only increase the risk of someone going down the wrong path. These are called "at risk" kids if i'm not mistaken. There's a reason for that label, but at the same time it doesn't dictate that every kid born into a bad situation is going to turn out bad.

The human spirit is a complex amazing thing. Some overcome all odds while others succumb to them. It's on the individual to choose better for them self, regardless of color. I could give example after example of people being raised in the exact same circumstances yet turning out totally different.

You're no one to judge anyone, asshat dunkey. You're generalizing just as badly as anyone who casts aspersions on any ethnicity.

I don't judge you solely because you're a willfully ignorant Hildebeast prole. So don't make your blanket statements, do try to have a discourse & then perhaps folks will take you seriously.

Way to avoid every question... It's hard to have discourse with someone with comprehension problems.

Dude, I said the DNA thing tongue and cheek but was trying to have a discussion on the cultural issues that plague parts of our society. Slash's link was not murders but crime. Look at the link I posted about murders from the same source as his. It tells a different story. It's not endemic of skin color but the stats for that color bare out a murder rate that is much higher. It's not a DNA/born with it/born black...but there is a reason. Your aforementioned list certainly has a lot to do with it. Just quit with the racist bull ****...Trying to attack me and judge my character. you don't know me jackass.

I missed your post... sorry I hurt your feelings by not responding.

Did I say anything about getting violent? All I said is that you wouldn't say a fair amount of the things you say on here to someone's face. I'd probably laugh in your face... some of the other things might get you knocked out... that's just the truth.

And please enlighten me on what "facts" you have confronted me with? I can't recall anything but pu**y ass name calling from you... biotch.

Good job digging into the data Jay, and thanks for reading it.

Basically, yes, while incidences of violent crime are relatively equal between the races, incidences of homicide are drastically overrepresented by the black population ('offending rate for blacks almost 8 times higher than for whites').

'Culture' is certainly relevant but the term should be used with caution- to associate rap music with blacks and say that 'murder is their culture' is far too simple of a viewpoint for a deeply complex and tragic issue.

Family structure, poverty, incarceration, segregation, and education are the largest components of this issue, and they're all intertwined. The disproportionate incarceration of young black men contributes to the disproportionate lack of fathers; the lack of job opportunities for offenders fuels drug-crime recidivism; poor family structure and poor sex education fuel teenage birthrates.

It is a vicious cycle- that doesn't mean that personal responsibility isn't part of the equation. But if you live, work, teach, or patrol these neighborhoods, you know these kids don't stand a f*ckin chance.

If you dig further into the data (Table 7, homicide types by race), you will see that white people are overrepresented in workplace and poisoning homicides. Is there something intrinsic about white culture that makes them more likely to commit these murders? Or is it simply a product of their domain, a more comfortable niche on the socioeconomic ladder? Think about it.

In closing, I do agree with Tard, that this thread sucks, and I know I'm just helping to drag it out. Trust me, I would rather have spent this time writing about INDO.

But if it's gonna go on for 147 pages, I feel compelled to add some perspective- part of the reason we have dismal presidential candidates is because people would rather berate each other than have informed conversations about our issues.

That's Ben Carson. Are you saying blacks all look alike and you couldn't tell the difference between Herman Cain and Ben Carson? You are a racist.

What do you mean by bad education? They have to top schools with the top resources in any district. Therefore, they are receiving a very good education, they just aren't putting any effort into learning. This isn't a result of the school/teachers, this is their environment or maybe culture.

Read my reply, asstail von dunkenshtein. Your questions are arrogant & lifted from an aggro leftist violent primer.

You're the one that can't tell the difference between Carson & Cain.

Whatever... he was a black presidential candidate and obviously doesn't fall into you stereotype bullsh!t, which was my point. You guys guys want to change the subject to my honest mistake between Cain and Carson... but none of you will answer the questions I posed Yankee, because if you do, you will be openly admitting to your bigotry. Fvck you!
