Hey brahs! Was just wondering what the best way is to dry my wetsuit after wave riding in belmar this upcoming weekend?
Wash it with the hose and hang it outside on a railing for a couple hours just don't forget about it then let it out overnight because I've had a frozen wetsuit before. Literally had tiny ice sickles hanging from it
The sun in Bel Mar has 2x the UV index than other EC spots and moisture is vaporized from the wetty at an accelerated pace. If I've crystals form on the wetty then the BelMar sun will sublimate the ice crystals. No problem brah.
Here in Belmar we just walk to D'Jais in our wetsuit right after our sesh and have girls twerk us until our suit is all dry. Careful though, the VD here will pass through a 6/5/4 if you're not careful
the new pipeline, you better bring a piece to the line up because its such a good wave people are shooting each other over it
Seriously? You never heard??? its the best and biggest break on the entire east coast, hands down! Check out all the surf mags- they continually talk about it! As far as drying your suit- Djais is a great option... you can get lunch there too... plus there is a dunkin donuts... its usually warmer in Belmar, NJ so it drys rather quickly..
Well since its one of the only reef breaks in jersey it does get rather crowded, supposedly JJF will be there for sundays swell
I hear that there is no parking in belmar now as all the pro photographers are there to get the years most insane barrel shots.
Rumor has it that next years pipeline pro will be held in belmar.... if its not too big at the time.... which it will be.
