Not to throw more "gas" on the fire here, but money is also prohibitive for our society. If big companies didn't have monetary incentive to, say, keep people filling up their cars with gas, I bet you we'd be driving solar powered cars by now. Or maybe flying to school on hovercraft skateboards.

Just one last point to clarify...

My sister and brother-in-law are wealthy. Their combined income puts them in the 1% bracket or close to it. She has her own business and he was a partner at an ad firm and is a published author. They are hard working, honest, decent people. Neither of them screwed anyone over as they built their career/business. In fact my sister's biz has been voted one of the top companies to work for in this area.

Very early in her career (started in advertising) she was told to take over the RJ Reynolds account. She ended up quitting and getting a job somewhere else b\c she was disgusted at the way the execs there wanted to market. Things like the best strategies for marketing to children with candy so they could get them hooked on their product as soon as possible. Sorry but that's just plain evil.

They have been able to acquire wealth while still being decent people. No hooking kids on ciggys, no dumping chemicals into the river to save $$$, etc...Could they make more if they chose to not be ethical? Of course. The point is they had a choice just like anyone else and they chose not to go that route.

With our happy little family of dysfunctional miscreants? Good luck with that...Who's milking the cow when DP surf is going off? Who's cooking the fish when the sunset session is bombing? :)

While we're waiting for Beetlejuice...beer's post in the staph thread made me think of this clip, another reason I like Eddie, at least he says we gotta keep the water clean. Also might as well consolidate...

IN this case the society convention is toppling gvts that dont play ball and undermine dollar value (see saddam selling oil for Euros, Qaddafi's pan-african gold dinar, etc)

if what you said is true gaff, Von NotHaus would never have even been arrested http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bernard_von_NotHaus

without murder force, the dollar is Gimbles

gold, now theres a 6000 year old true tested currency...

better yet...calories.....lets see people eat dollar bills...food is the only real currency when a culture collapses

It seems we all knew this day was coming. Anyone who knows anything knows it ain't all rainbows over there. Extremely expensive with a lot of drugs and crime. I would be mad and fight for also. I feel bad for Chapman. That's a name who has been there for generations and to think even he wouldn't be able to own his own home is surprising!
