I'd say it's a bit over-volumed for you at 175, but you should still be able to duckdive it. Especially if it's foiled thinner in the nose... and if it's a step-up, it should be.
Really appreciate the advice. I figured I could just get heavy glass poly and I'd be golden. I'm a bigger surfer. About 6-6 245 and I put a lot of stress on my equipment. I broke it when I pulled in a close out barrel and came out with two pieces of what used to be my board.
