I got that as a gift a few years back and it's a good read while you're on the throne

I have that book. I don't know what it costs these days. I can't recall where I got it, maybe from a friend.

It depends what you're seeking from a book such as this one. Having said that, it's professionally put together, chock-full of common sense aspects of surfing & I would say it is worth picking up. Probably meant more for the intermediate(?) surfer.

I'm a person who finds something of value in pretty much every 'lesson learned.' Ergo, even if the book has some obvious stuff, it's ok with me because it has lots of other good stuff within. It's an enjoyable read & it has good techniques as well as general ocean-surf info within.
