Yes. Take and make the drop, and ride it with all the skill you have and enjoy. Otherwise, the clean-up set will be coming... and you don't want any part of that.
Congrats guys. My mini me will be 11 this year. This was taken last summer. First wave he paddled into by himself. Words can't express how you feel when you see your child do something great .
Congrats to your friend donald and you too nynj , mine is ten and we paddled out together on surfboards about 15 times this summer, it was his first year on a surfboard but i've been dragging him around on a bodyboard since 7. Taught him to hold his breath by going on longer and longer swims with him clinging on my back starting at 5. It was awesome to see him off the sponge. Been taking him snowboarding since 5 and he already shreds. When he finds out I went without him he gets so pissed. Awesome pic Lipsmacker it is a great if not the greatest feeling. As for surfing the day after go I did, my womans gone and my kid lives with me now but the surf sesh had nothing to do with it she's just bat **** crazy.
I was terrified when I found out my girlfriend was pregnant but I can't remember life before he was born. Almost as if the day he was born, I was reborn. Being a father is what gets me out of bed and off to work everyday. It drives me to be a better man. It can cut into your free time unless you've got a great woman but now when I go, he goes. She gets the break and I'm the good guy. Get them in the water as soon as Mom will let you. Have fun guys.
Install a car seat mount on the front end of a noserider and take them surfing as a newborn. I think Ripcurl makes XXXXS sized wetsuites. Isn't swimming underwater supposed to be a natural instinct or something?
NYNJ and MIS, good luck, I hope all goes as smoothly as possible in the next few months. Now be honest. How is the milk?
"May you have two....just like you!" (A mother's curse) Congrats brother! Please don't name it Wayne!
It can go either way, brothers... Indo boat trips with the boys, or dance class dream crashers. All part of the game...
Duuuuude! How the hell did that happen!?! Congratulations...a future shredder is coming. Hopefully, a girl, to keep you on your toes! (From a proud father of a 24 year old daughter).
