what happens if the bomber is a Catlick? or a Chew? or Babtits? One shouldn't condemn a group of people for the actions of 1. I got several mooslim friends. they tell me that, like TRUE Christians, they are non violent, turn the other cheek types. I was a pacifist. I didn't mind if I passed a fist across some lips.

 

It also is worth repeating: we don't even know who did this yet. Makes no sense to condemn anyone at this time unless you are looking to score political points.

Think you're referring to a different image circulated earlire via social media. Only thing that's been released on the latest suspect is that it's "a dark-skinned male". I don't think that the Lord and Taylor store security camera footage used to ID the guy has been publicized yet.

 

Pretty embarassing for CNN...first reporting an arrest had been made with a suspect in custory, then having to retract it.

This is insanity in Boston right now, hospital evacuated after someone locked their keys in their car and the guy helping him saw gas cans in the back, federal court has been evacuated in anticipation of suspect arriving, varying descriptions being provided to the press, some say white male with white backwards cap, others saying dark-skinned male. Absolutely crazy.

 

all terrorists are muslim really? what about the weatherman in the 1960's or the oklahoma city bombing, or guy foxx who bombed parliament? not a very accurate statement

 

You expect that type of thing on social media, but super embarrassing for the accredited journalist outlets. It wasn't just CNN, but most of the media. I know I saw it on the NY Times app.

 

The worst part about all this is the non-existent war on terror. just like the war on drugs, the war on terror is un-winniable and only allows a self-perpetuating positive feedback loop of our domestic civil liberties being stripped, and the expenditures for defense spiraling out of control so the military industrial complex can be at perpetual war and earn a buck. All the war on terror really does is justify americas rape of the third world (read up on 3rd world dependency theory). Keep that in mind next time your off surfing Morocco or a host of other poor nations with great waves.

wake up people, there is no such thing as the war on terror. Anybody can be labeled as a terrorist. The war on terror is the equivalent to having a war on "people who like the color red". Anyone can fit that category, if the government finds an appropriate reason to go after them. Our children will laugh at our ignorance or be consumed by it.
