It's a 6'4" epoxy fish, by Santa Cruz. I love it, handles all types of waves. It's a hassle to duck dive though.

I haven't read all this thread, but the water temps around the greater New Jersey coastal region where hovering aboot 78-80 F last week. That's going to get things a mite fishy. Plus, it's the ones you don't see that you have to worry aboot. Less than 5 people were executed by shark last year(2014). Mean while dogs killed almost 70,000 people last year. Good for them !! Way to go guys. Mostly rabid suckers in Africa. Wow, sharks in America's Friendliest Family Resort. This is getting out of hand. And NC always gets shark attacks in the summer. It's what they do. This year is just a heavy year. We had a "Summer of the Shark" years ago circa 2000-2002 or something. Warm water in THE OBX is conducive to shark activity. Hey it ain't Reunion Island, just yet.
That would have been tragic. Then sharks would equate humans with the nectar of the Gods. Everyone would get attacked, and the sharks would get angry at all the squares out surfing these days. Shark 1: I've bitten ten people today and I don't feel nothing. These humans are garbage. I got beat. Shark 2: We got to go to Paterson, man. I've nodded in the water and fell over to my right side while sitting on my board waiting for the next two footer. I used to walk the shoreline on summer days and smile at the tourists staring at the ocean. And yes, I did methodically stalk seagulls.
I gotta take one of my kids on some college visits in a couple weeks. Three schools down in the NC/VA area. Told my wife we had to work in two days in the OBX, and she's like... "There's sharks down there! I don't want my kids in the water down there... and I don't want you in the water down there either!" Now... how am I gonna figure out a way to convince her it's safe, without her knowing I'm trying to convince her it's safe. Hmmmmm.....
