I work inside the Naval Station, but live near that crash site. Both pilots supposedly ejected, but the jet crashed into an apartment complex
i live right down the street from the crash , at first i though it was just a fire i didn't hear or see anything i just saw huge smoke clouds. kids are out of school today i hope no one was at home
it was a few miles from my apartment...it took out a large section of the complex. There hasn't been any word of injuries or deaths besides the piolots (that had non-life threating injuries). If you look up pictures of the damage, it seems like it would be a miracle if no one was killed...especially with the kids being out of school. the police fire ect have everything blocked off from the ocean to the apartment complex and all around it. traffic is heavy to begin with here and now it is insane.
Yea i was at the scene of this. i had just got out of classes in Norfolk and had seen the cloud of smoke. I went to go check it out and it was chaos down there. people lying in the street, crowds of people. 2 whole buildings were pretty much gone. probably shouldn't have gone down there due to the air quality but did it anyway. it wouldve been a damn miracle if no one died

Hope everyone is alright. i heard the pilots emptied out its jet fuel before ejecting to minimize damage. stille looks bad.
