SP (fst) review:
-very stable for pop ups, almost as stable as a longboard
-gets into waves super easy
-turns on a dime (have quad rainbow bamboo fins)
-due to riding longboards exclusively, still trying to get my footing right. I was thinking about getting a fish pad.
-a bit awkward to sit on. I could probably ditch 2 inches or so, but I like the extra foam especially for winter.

I really want to give it a try in some clean chest high surf. It looks like we may be getting some fun medium period swell filtering in soon, so I will give another review. All in all, the board is sick and plan on keeping it.

sweet potato inspired board i had shaped... Not quite as wide in the tail. Havent had it out on a truly longboard knee high day yet... but did have it out on a waist high day: pretty much dead high tide, waves barely crumbling. Caught waves with ease, while other shortboards struggled mightily. One longboarder was having trouble getting into anything, but he was a beginner. Board is 5-8 x 22. If you follow Coils on Swaylocks, its the "Bloop." [IMG][/IMG]
