today was a no go here. It was too choopy and the other spot I check it was knee high in a foot of water. Tomorrow looks good in the AM I might try and get out for a hour before work
I'm thinking maybe everybody is getting so nasty so fast because as someone said earlier this is quite probably the worst winter for surf in recent memory. I get twitchy after a week out of the water..and it's been two long stretches of 21 and before that 26 days..I think we're all a little punchy. So try and bear that in mind before you jump down the next guys throat for expressing his frustrations.."Waves always come"...
i don't know where or when you're checking it but there's been waves in new jersey,21 and 26 days sounds like you aren't making much effort,i surfed 10 days in february and today was fun,too.
Yeah. I surfed today, alone, midday at a very popular break. The wind pretty much stopped while it rained. Glad i went out, got a few fun ones. This flat spell really has me bummed
