    Set your lineups

Guys set your surfer lineups!!!!!!!! THis thing is set to kick off Friday night early Saturday morning for us here on the East Coast. Zach add three hours. Basically it's a day and a half from right now is the official waiting period, looks like the swell be decent for the first part of waiting period so it may kick off on the first day.

Not sure what your problem is.
Make sure you've got the latest version of your browser and Adobe Flash.

    After you hit the "Trade Men Now" button;
It brings up a Flash screen in the window where you just drag and drop surfers.

It took a long time for the page to load up. Maybe you didn't wait long enough

Yeah, make sure your browsers are updated. New flash. New firefox/IE version...

But its a simple drag and drop menu.

You login, click on dashboard, then drag and drop surfers....

So, according to my calculations, the event will start tomorrow night (Friday) at midnight (west coast), which would be 3am, saturday morning for you guys...

    Yes?

WIth that being said, where is the best site to watch this event streaming live? HD preferably since I have an HD laptop. This will be my first live streaming event.

I know atdhe.net etc have all been shut down, so where is the legit link to watch it?

Surfline usually puts up a link, Quiksilver.com. If not a simple google search of "Quiksilver pro live" should have it.

I hope you got a good roster - im gonna smoke all you fools in this first event!

they'll play the event here http://www.quiksilverpro.com.au/ with options for hd quality, high stream, medium, and low stream.

when the event is running, surfline has a link on their front page too

depending on the bandwidth load on their server at the time, it can get a little lagged. make sure you have enough free memory when your watching.

I like to hook up my laptop to my tv for these things. hopefully it runs on saturday and i'm awake.

    I love watching

I love watching the tour now. I have a computer in my little media room hooked up to a 37inch lcd, its great to kick back and watch snapper contest in HD. I can kick back in the recliner and watch the best in the world battle it out in head high walls.

Mitch Crews won the trials, the kid is ridiculous and he could be taking down the big guns in this event, kid is sick.

They may run the women's event, which has a similar waiting period as the men's.

matter of fact, There is ZERO swell on the gold coast until next friday when a SE cyclone swell will wrap up the coast.

The event goes until march 9th, so they will probably kick it off next weekend. Should get well overhead through next weekend. literally nothing until then

Ohh da**! I can't believe they are running it. The conditions are supposed to worsen through the weekend... Interesting. Since they have such a large window, im surprised they are kicking it off.
