I think it depends. Time of year, time of day, number of people, size of swell, type of board...long boarding 1/2 foot dribble at first light by myself, mountain jam from eat a peach, surfing pumping Hatteras on a short board with my friends driving down to Frisco, get yer ya-ya's out, surfing manasquan inlet in July, highway 61 revisited, surfing jenks in an ice storm in february, quadrophenia, and the list goes on, but, no, not jack Johnson, jimmy buffet, the BeachBoys or all that other crap music listed here.
Well when I paddle out and looks like a TON of a lot bigger from prone... Or when I see a random bubble rise to surface next to me... This is my jam
I listen to Don't Change by INXS as well, but it's because it reminds me of this video.
Back in the day, I would blare "Killing An Arab" by The Cure right before paddling out (usually So. Mission Jetty).
So this is favorite song prior to sesh or surf song tread? If the former, them any kinda de la sol, Das efx, Tupac, biggie, onyx, beasties, solid base with a good beat stuff
